The story of his latest endeavour follows Gabriel Glas, a lonely young doctor who despises the superficial ideals of his time yet secretly longs to belong. When Helga Gregorius, a celebrated and enigmatic fashion designer, steps into Glas’s practice, his world is thrown off balance. Behind her flawless façade, she is trapped in a marriage with acclaimed author Patrik Gregorius. Gabriel sees it as his mission to save Helga from Patrik’s clutches. But as the two become entangled in lies, desire and power games, Gabriel crosses increasingly dangerous moral boundaries.
