A young and brilliant lawyer from Trieste, after having successfully defended a charismatic university professor from the accusation of sexual violence, is contacted by him to file a lawsuit against the university that, despite having reinstated him, relegates him to a marginal role. At the same time, her past comes back to haunt her: strange signals, elusive presences and a sense of constant threat instill in her the doubt that her ex-partner, violent and obsessed with her so much that he was convicted of "stalking", has started persecuting her again. As the boundary between reality and imagination becomes increasingly blurred, Elisabetta decides to discover the truth, in a crescendo of tension that will lead her to find herself alone and to question everything she thought she knew.
